How to play Kwanzaa 20 Questions
- The player is assigned to be a person, place, thing or event of importance in our history.
- The assignment is not revealed to the player.
- A sheet of paper with the player's assigned identity is pinned to his back.
- He turns to reveal his identity to the other players.
- The player then begins asking yes or no questions to try to figure out his assigned identity
- He can ask 20 questions. When his questions are exhausted he must guess. If he doesn't figure it out, his identity is revealed to him.
Tips
Find out whether you are a person, place, thing, or historic event first. If you are told 'no' in response to the first three, you needn't waste a question by asking whether you are an event!

- Find out if you are male or female. "Am I a male?' eliminates the need for the second question, "Am I a female?!"
- Then find out if you are living or deceased.
- Then find out if you are a Continental African or a Diasporan African.
